American Outlaws: Buffalo chapter

You support FC Buffalo, but odds are you were a United States Soccer supporter first and foremost.

If you’ve caught Yanks matches on TV — at home and abroad — odds are you’ve noticed the American Outlaws, a growing group of committed U.S. Soccer followers trying to spread the word about the beautiful game in America.

The Outlaws have 43 chapters throughout the country, and when we found out Rochester had one, we naturally wondered what it would take to earn a chapter for Buffalo.

The answer was simple: have a pub commit to showing EVERY U.S. match and have at least 25 members of the American Outlaws in your city. We talked to AOHQ, and they encouraged us to start one here in Western New York (Rochester already has one). Buffalo already had a handful of AO members, so the staff here at FC Buffalo has committed to joining the organization for 2011. Here’s what you get with your one-year membership:

• Outlaw Bandana

• Official American Outlaw Supporters T-Shirt (American Apparel)

  • Discounts on Tickets to the supporters section of each US game
  • Membership benefits at events such as tailgates, viewing parties, etc.
  • 10% Discounts at http://shop.bigsoccer.com/
  • Free gifts from great companies such as NIKE, FSC, and more…  (varies based on events)
  • Flight Discounts from Continental Airlines to any US Soccer game, anywhere in the world.

It only costs $14.99 plus shipping. We make ZERO dollars off of this, but will be offering some special FC Buffalo offers to Buffalo chapter members as the year wears on. Here’s a picture of some “The Situation Room” members, FC Buffalo staff and family at an American Outlaws tailgate before USA/Brazil at the New Meadowlands Stadium.

Let’s Buffalo! Let’s go States! Let’s get to 25!

Why does the Rochester American Outlaws not even have a webpage? I would be very interested in maybe getting a coach bus to the Baltamore quarterfinals or Chicago finals match if we can fill it with Utica, Syracuse, Rocherster, maybe Binghamton too? members 🙂 12tbuchman@gmail.com

The Rochester American Outlaws was in a hibernating state until earlier this summer. While under new management we have been working around the clock to get our ducks in a row to have an official re-launch. This includes the webpage. Soon we will be unveiling everything. Until then, please email RochesterOutlaws@gmail.com for any information.
