New men’s coach | Bartholomew steps down | 2025 season tickets | fcbuffalostore.com
FC Buffalo are excited to begin a new era of women’s football by announcing three members of our 2025 USL W League coaching staff, a group which includes two former FCB women’s players.
Inaugural FC Buffalo women’s team members Victoria Caruso and Emily Kelly will assist Buffalo State women’s coach Greg Margolis when our club begins play this Spring.
Margolis has coached in United Women’s Soccer and has been with Buffalo State since the Spring of 2021. He previously coached at Elmira College, Allegheny College, Methodist University, and Springfield College, and was also operations coordinator for the New England Revolution in MLS and a cognitive performance coach for the United States Military.
Caruso was known as VIctoria Colotti when she suited up for FCB’s inaugural season. She’s made 24 appearances for the blue and gold, scoring two goals with an assist, and she’s on Margolis’ staff at Buffalo State following a sparkling career with the Bengals.
Kelly is now on the women’s staff at Division-I program Murray State and was also on FCB’s first two women’s sides, playing 18 times and being named All-East Conference in 2021 and 2022. She then played a season professionally in Australia with Gungahlin United FC. She’s the all-time winningest goalkeeper in the University at Buffalo’s decorated history and also leads the program’s record book in clean sheets.
“Our women’s program was designed to give a stage to top players but also those that who wish to build their futures in our game,” said FC Buffalo leadership. “Greg has an ambitious plan to attack our season, while it only further fuels our ambition that Victoria and Emily have gone from wearing the blue and gold to coaching in our colors.”
FC Buffalo’s 2025 USL W League schedule is expected to be public by the end of February.
