FC Buffalo to host UWS National Championship Weekend in Buffalo-Niagara region

FC Buffalo is ecstatic to serve as hosts for the 2024 United Women’s Soccer National Championship weekend this July 19-21, as the club brings the four-team postseason tournament to the Buffalo-Niagara region for two national semifinal rounds and a national final.

Single-game tickets are available here.

FC Buffalo will also be one of the four national semifinalists, bypassing the East Conference playoffs as hosts after winning the Iron Division with Sunday’s 2-2 draw versus Steel City. FCB will kickoff the second game of the Friday, July 19 doubleheader. The first match will kick off at 5 pm ET.

All three games will be played at Robert Rich Sr. All-High Stadium and the club looks forward to showcasing both Buffalo and Niagara Falls to the clubs who visit this month.

“Our club was founded to put our city on a stage, and we are both honored and humbled by the opportunity to showcase our league and our city this month,” said club co-owner Nick Mendola. “This announcement is months in the making, and we want to thank UWS commissioner Joe Ferrara for his endless work on behalf of the league.”

“We’d also like to thank all of our sponsors but especially those who’ve been involved in this initiative like The Martin Group, The Cambria Hotel of Niagara Falls, Antonio’s Banquet Center, and more to be announced in the coming days.”
