FC Buffalo started its Saturday with a win to open its 2015 campaign, and finished it off with fans and friends at Batavia Downs Gaming.
Kendell McFayden had a goal and an assist, and veterans Casey Derkacz and Kyle Rogers also scored as FCB picked up a 3-1 friendly win at Genesee Community College. Brian Knapp also registered an assist in the win agains coach Ken Gavin’s Cougars.
Derkacz scored off a Brian Knapp corner in the third minute, while Rogers added a first-half goal on this free kick from McFayden.

McFayden’s deflected shot went home late in the match as FCB added an insurance goal after GCC had cut the deficit to 2-1.
