FC Buffalo’s Erie County Derby disappointment multiplied by two on Friday, falling to four-star Erie Commodores for the second time this season.
Erie scored twice in each half to record a 4-0 win in front of a terrific crowd a Robert Rich Sr. All-High Stadium.
The Wolves never recovered from a slow start for the second-straight week, and can no longer catch Erie or Cleveland SC for one of two East Division playoff spots.
FCB center back Euan Bauld served a one-game suspension for yellow card accumulation in the loss, while Jake Cooper made his 23rd club appearance to climb into FCB’s Top Ten in matches played.
