The FC Buffalo Reserves drew their third match of the year in BDSL Championship Division play to move their record to 0-2-3.
Inderjit Singh (Erie Community College) scored and Robert Weigand (St. John Fisher College) allowed just one goal in a 1-1 draw versus Rangers at Sahlen’s Sports Park in Elma, N.Y.
The Reserves next play in the Salacious Sixteen of the Tehel Cup, the oldest amateur soccer tournament in the United States. It’s a truly salacious match-up, as the Reserves will play a Celtic United team that feature current Blitzer defender Steve Carcaterro and several former FCB player (Matt Stedman, Peter Duerden).
The next FCB Reserves BDSL Championship Division match is Sunday, June 16 when the Blitzers face Yemen Elite at Park School for a 6 p.m. match-up.
